"Run TCX Exporter" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

The App is designed as a client-only utility. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal data, fitness activity data, or login credentials on any external servers owned by the developer.

2. HealthKit Data (Apple Health)

The App requests read access to Apple's HealthKit to retrieve your running workouts and associated route/GPS data.

• Purpose: This data is accessed solely to generate TCX files and sync them to your Garmin Connect account or to package them into a ZIP archive for your personal use.
• Storage: The HealthKit data retrieved is processed temporarily in memory and is never saved or cached on any server by the developer.
• Sharing: We do not share your HealthKit data with third parties, advertisers, or marketing agencies. It is sent directly from your device to Garmin Connect only upon your explicit request.

3. Garmin Connect Credentials & Authentication

To upload activities directly to Garmin Connect, you may choose to log in within the App.

• Authentication: Your username (email) and password are encrypted and sent directly to Garmin's authentication servers. Your password is used solely for the login request and is not stored anywhere.
• Secure Storage: The resulting authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's local iOS Keychain. This data is encrypted and never uploaded to any other servers.
• Logout: You can log out at any time, which will instantly and completely delete the saved tokens from your device's Keychain.
