❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. How does the app export my running data?
A: The app requests read-only permission for Apple Health (HealthKit) workout data. Once authorized, it retrieves your running history, generates a standard .tcx file (containing your GPS route, distance, pace, and calories) for each selected run, and allows you to share them as a single .zip file or upload them directly to Garmin Connect.
Q2. Is my Health and Garmin login data secure?
A: Yes, absolutely.
- Your fitness and health data never leave your device (except when you choose to upload them directly to Garmin).
- Your Garmin Connect password is used only for authentication in memory and is never saved.
- The authorized session token is encrypted and stored locally in your device's iOS Keychain, ensuring top-tier security. We do not own any backend servers and do not collect your information.
Q3. Why are some of my runs showing "No Route" or "No Distance"?
A: This usually happens if:
- The run was recorded without GPS data (e.g., an indoor treadmill run).
- The Apple Health permissions for "Workouts" or "Workout Routes" were not fully granted. You can check this in the iOS Settings App > Health > Data Access & Devices > Run to TCX.
Q4. Direct upload to Garmin Connect failed. What should I do?
